Sustainability at the Origin of A&P Technology

From its inception, A&P Technology goal’s was to be the leading braider in the world by making the world’s highest quality products at the world’s lowest price.

In order to reach this goal, A&P endeavored to design and build state-of the art braiding machinery enabling efficient production of optimized braided materials. We employ unique manufacture methods to handle fiber in the most efficient manner possible. These methods include vision systems, automation and lean manufacture methods which maximize production and safety – safety of our employees and for our customers relying on high quality, engineered materials.

A&P Technology’s focus on custom solutions extends sustainability practices beyond its own manufacturing facilities. We work closely with our customers at the design level to create braided solutions that optimize use of material and manufacture methods, providing cost savings and minimizing waste. By providing net shape and oriented materials, A&P supports its customers’ desire for sustainable, innovative products that enable efficient methods of manufacture.

A&P Technology is a key supplier to the Composites Industry, an industry devoted to creating products that deliver long service with little maintenance. We take our role as a supplier to this industry seriously, realizing our responsibility to provide economically viable, high performance solutions.

The origin of sustainability is ‘to hold up’ and ‘to keep up’. A&P prides itself on extending beyond this original meaning. We aim to lead, to remain at the forefront of braiding technology and uphold the quality of our employees’ lives, those of our customers and of our society by safeguarding the use and production of valuable resources, such as carbon fiber, and constantly improving upon our methods of manufacture.
